One experience shouldn’t spoil the broth
But if you continually turn your ear
To the irrational rants
The looney delusional conversation
All concrete in mind
Black and white
Grey is a pariah
And the ones who despise with fervor
Might save your life one day
What will you say then?
An aberration?
That somehow you escaped at your own volition?

Tuning in
Turning on
Or drop out
The idiocy of drug addled fake gurus
Primary goals were wine, women and song
And if you believed such an delusional madman
And ended up perishing
Surely they didn’t pay for the funeral
Or offered a solemn prayer in hopes
You would arrive at a heavenly place
They took your money
Warped your mind
And raped the soul
Yet somehow you still can’t fathom
You were taken to the cleaners
Best put the blame on the shadows
That were formed by this brainwashing
While you’re busy judging exteriors
As your interior rots
Inevitably hollowed out.
