Surely God has borne our griefs,
Carried our sorrows away;
But in the Lord, we have beliefs,
Causing us to trust and obey.

Yet we esteemed Him to stricken,
Smitten by God and afflicted;
So furious the wrath quicken,
A judgment that has convicted.

But He was pierced for transgressions,
Crushed for our iniquities;
That brought us peace confessions,
Erasing immoralities.

We are all like sheep gone astray,
And have laid our sin on Him;
We have turned others their own way,
Though still oppressed and feeling grim.

We have laid transgressions on Him,
The iniquity of us all;
That has made everything dim,
Because we have caused Him to fall.

He was oppressed and afflicted,
Yet did not speak a single word;
Like the lamb being rejected,
Led to the slaughter with the herd.

Like the sheep before its shearers,
Acting if to be deaf and dumb;
Some others who were adherers,
Had escaped for their own freedom.

By the judgment and oppression,
He had been then taken away,
He prayed for some intercession,
Asking about the price to pay.

His generation was cut off,
Out of the land of the living;
Because how they did mock and scoff,
Since they were not very giving.

They made His grave the evil,
And with a rich man in His death;
Seems like the end of survival,
After taking of the last breath.

Yet it was the will of the Lord,
To crush the one causing the grief;
That followers are not ignored,
And strengthen the faith and belief.
