Prayerville and Promiseville are the first two messages of the Faith Adventure series.
Doubtville part one is the message for tonight.
You are taking me on a Faith Adventure to the Land of Your Thumbprint.
Faith distinguishes me from my peers, who know in their own special ways.
I need to spend the most time in Prayerville and I need to spend a fair amount of time in Promiseville since You speak to me here.
The promise You have spoken to me tonight is Matthew 5:6 on page 736 in the New Living Translation Pocket Bible: "Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for justice for they shall be filled (NLT, 736)."
Satan tries to lure us into Doubtville and the Enemy tempts us to doubt what You have said, Lord.
Faith is a gift from You that comes by hearing Your Word, Living God.
I need to let patience have its perfect work in the life You have given me.
Matthew 7:7-11
Luke 24 is Your first appearance after You went to the Cross, Creator in human form.
You said peace to me.
Shalom means Your peace, God.
Why am I troubled and why has doubt arose in my heart?
Things about You have been written in the law of Moses as well as the book of Psalms.
I need to remind and I need to revisit the Word.
I need to go back to the Word of God.
Faith in Your Word overcomes doubt.
Thomas wanted five physical senses to be satisfied.
Blessed are those who believe in You by faith in You without seeing You.
Matthew 11:1-6
Blessed are those who are not offended in You.
John the Baptist is Your second cousin and Pastor Skip confirm this via Connections in 2018 on the Hillsong Channel one Saturday evening at 6:30 pm.
Since You said it, You will do it.
James 1:5
We all have doubts.
I can overcome doubt by reminding and revisiting Your Word.
Nehemiah 1:1-10
Nehemiah was the King's Cup bearer who cared deeply about the Israelites.
Nehemiah 2:10-11
I can intercede for the students just like Nehemiah intereced for Your people, the Israelites.
You have given me a prayer journal as well as index, or flash cards.
Satan tries to take us out right away and he fights us harder because there is more at stake for him.
I need other people who have faith.
Nehemiah 2:19
Doubt minimizes while faith maximizes.
Satan has been using society to stereotype the youth.
We need to magnify You, Lord.
