Give ear to my prayer,
Hide not You from me;
Listen what I share,
To You in my plea.

Attend and hear me,
Wrestle with complaint;
O Lord, can’t you see,
My moans with restraint.

The noise from my foes,
Oppressing evil;
As the trouble flows,
Works for the devil.

I am in anguish,
The terror of death;
So much to languish,
Takes away my breath.

I tremble with fear,
Horrors overwhelm;
O Lord please be near,
As you take the helm.

If I had the wings,
I could fly away;
With the rest it brings,
No worry each day.

I wander far off
Stay in wilderness;
Where life is not tough,
Feel Your blessedness.

I rush to escape,
Find shelter from storm;
With a shield to drape,
For keeping me warm.

O Lord please destroy,
Dividing the tongue;
Strife that they employ,
Vulgarity flung.

Day and night, they go,
Outside of my walls;
Mischief that they know,
Mockery that calls.

Oppression and fraud,
Remain on the street;
So much we need God,
Stomp them with Your feet.
