Allow love to be genuine,
Holding fast unto what is good;
Maintain spiritual discipline,
By doing the things that you should.

Let love be without deceiving,
Cleave unto the heavenly things;
A firm faith that is believing,
All the blessings that the Lord brings.

Have a brotherly affection,
While you love one another;
Showing honor to perfection,
By outperforming each other.

Do not be slothful in your zeal,
Be fervent in mind and spirit;
Never try to ever conceal,
A skeleton in your closet.

Be patient in tribulation,
Rejoice in hope, constant in prayer;
Prepare for the revelation,
That the Lord already did share.

Contribute to needs of the saints,
Seek to show hospitality;
Not revealing any restraints,
That shows an immorality.

Bless those who would persecute you,
Blessings never to curse them;
Remaining spiritually true,
For God will judge for to condemn.

Rejoice with those who do rejoice,
Weep with anyone who does weep;
Praising with others with your voice,
Become a shepherd to the sheep.

Have peace of mind with each other,
Live in harmony, not haughty;
Not conceited to your brother,
Never to be rude or snotty.

If your foemen hunger or thirst,
Give them some food and let them drink;
By overcoming evil first,
Shows your compassion is in sync.
