I would like an understanding,
Understand with a reminder;
Of what that Law is demanding,
That the Lord is your pathfinder.

So, you can remember His Word,
As spoken by holy prophets;
The command of the Lord is heard,
Be given what one inherits.

Scoffers will come in the last days,
Living as to their desires;
Which includes immoral ways,
Lighting their personal fires.

Of His coming where is the hope,
Since when the fathers fell asleep;
All things continue as they cope,
Until the time He tends His sheep,

Long ago Heaven and the earth,
Were brought about from water;
Through the Word that God gave birth,
And mold the clay as the potter.

The world of that time had perished,
Through these waters it was flooded;
Everything God had cherished,
A chance to have it restarted.

But Heaven and earth stored fire,
In being kept until that day;
Judgment for earth to expire,
Destroy ungodly men that stray.

Let not this one thing to escape,
For the Lord will never delay;
The time to restart and reshape,
A new world that will not decay.

For one day that is with the Lord,
Is like living a thousand years;
When remaining in one accord,
No longer with regrets and fears.

But He will be patient with you,
Not wanting any to perish;
If your repentance holding true,
The Father will always cherish.

For the Lord will come like a thief,
When the Heaven will pass away;
Anyone that have the belief,
Jesus ensures to whisk away.
