A November day, cold and bitter,
The leaves lay fallen on the ground.
The skies are cloudy with chance of rain,
No sound in the air, silence surround.

Dim and gloomy, the day looks dead,
For the colors of life have faded.
The sun has hidden it rays of warmth,
For summer has made it jaded.

Then silence is broken with words of new life,
Warm embrace of our hands as if gloved.
Smiles paint the colors of life on this day,
With two words spoken, "Dearly Beloved."

We are gathered here today to witness our love,
To celebrate the joining of two hearts.
A cold bitter day now warm with passion,
Today we wed....til death do us part.
