This heart of mine
Will smile everlasting
Embracing joy
Across the vast landscape
For fate decreed
There is a heavenly dawn
After the emotional massacre.
This soul of mine
Free from indentured servitude
For that wonderful peace
Once elusive
Now conducive to all
The good tidings promised
Many autumns ago
And all that was required
Was to just have faith
And to get out of the way
And let him have the wheel.
