Concerning spiritual gifts,
I want you to be informed;
That you can use that uplifts,
On others how they performed.

You know when you were pagans,
Mute idols led you astray;
By such seductive slogans,
Causing you to disobey.

I want you to understand,
None speaking in the Spirit;
And that Christ has been accursed,
No one dealing with merit.

None can say Jesus is Lord,
But through the Holy Spirit;
And being in one accord,
Assured what you inherit.

Various gifts of service,
Through the Spirit for the Lord;
Without need to be nervous,
And never to be ignored.

All kinds of activities,
The same God who empowers;
Helping through festivities,
As the enemy cowers.

Given manifestation,
That is for the common good;
Stops any infestation,
Where the enemy has stood.

Through the Spirit gives wisdom,
Another has the knowledge;
That flows down from His Kingdom,
The person should acknowledge.

Another gift of healing,
Another faith by the same;
Comforting in your feeling,
And enabled to proclaim.

Someone works miracles,
Another in prophecy;
Avoids any obstacles,
Fulfills His advocacy.
