Paralyzing anxiety
Terrifying
Shaking
Upon a barren landscape
But only I can tune out
The negative vibes
Threatening to wipe out my soul.

Don’t wallow in nostalgia
Forge and trudge ahead
It’s all in the imagination
Gotta trust your instincts
You’re not past your prime
For this is the time
To open the floodgates
Cancel the debt
Don’t ever be afraid
To plant a stake
For you are worthy of peace of mind
Heavenly waters to bathe in
Replenished by the rays of sunshine
Azul peering through clouds of grey.

Don’t hold back from the crowd
That delude you into believing
That you’re not allowed to have a voice
For you will be kept from experiencing
The paradise within
It’s all subjective anyway
But if my objective is to fully open my heart
Fearless
Courageous
I don’t know what I’m waiting for.
