and grey clouds hide the sky.
Drops of rain seem to hide within your eyes.
And here am I wondering about your disguise.
October Country, is the month of my
natural birth. It is the month of
year I first came into the earth.
A lot of years have past since I turned 65.
October Country, is there any reason why,
I would ever need to lie because of you.
When I am freely recording all my best
and finest thoughts about you.
October Country, 1954. And I still know
to dream about the past. The present
is now and the future is yet to come.
You will always remain true to me, and I to you.
October Country, you hold my heart within
your hand. It is true I am trying to become
a better person. Spreading hope and kindness
through out the remainder of my earthly days.
