still, her eyes remain closed in the full moonlight –
I watch my wife in the garden
In the full moonlight,
under a silver dome wondering!
In her left hand, she holds a flickering candle
It’s the dark of the day as she lifts a dome of gold wondering!
My wife sees the birds hidden in the garden
In the sky, there’s a golden sun shimmering in the night sky –
My wife feeds the birds
Hidden in her garden
and yet her…
and yet her eyes remain closed and wondering!
