The bosses daughter just came home
From collage so it was to be
I was going out to check the cattle
She decided as well ride out with me

Better get older jeans on girl I said
Why she replied these are brand new
Nobody out there to impress I said
I'm fine these new jeans will do true

Well out we rode and spotted cattle
In the longest ever just flooded grass
Before I could tell her to be careful
She rode swiftly though it very fast

The fences now curled up by floods
No signs they gave of being there
Her horse ripped by barbed wire
Struggling to get free gasping for air

Her new jeans were soaked in blood
And did my best to set her free
She had torn an artery told her to
Keep pressure on it I rode then madly

Her mother came driving ever fast
Back home then on two way phone
Ringing flying doctor do come soon
With boss away she was on her own

With that her mother fired me then
Blaming me for her daughters woe
Before I'd said one word of advice
She'd kicked the horse off to go

Well that took care of her new jeans
And a good job as well that day
Only just home from collage
Knew everything come what may
