Because he first loved me.

I once was blinded by sin,
but now I do see, the
light of the world is Jesus Christ.

It was Jesus Christ, who removed
the heavy burdens of my sin laden soul.
Granting me grace and mercy untold.

Jesus Christ redeemed me from death
and the grave the very moment I became saved.
Now I am no longer afraid!

Jesus Christ promises to abide with me for always.
He will never leave nor forsake, throughout all my days.
Oh, how I love Jesus Christ! I will worship and praise him!

No matter what the world will say. No matter what the world will do.
Jesus Christ, I faithfully promise you. I will remain true blue.
Oh, how I love Jesus Christ! Because you first loved me!
