I wish I could fly like an eagle,
through heaven's lofty skies,
over the majestic mountains tops.
I wish I could feel the wind beneath
my wings.

Only possible in my wildest dreams.
The Eagles perch on the tops of green trees.
Sometimes my friends and I can behold
them in all of their glory.

But if I had wings I too could fly.
And feel the summer times warm breeze
in mine eyes. If I could really
feel the wind beneath my wings.
Then my childish dreams would
really, at last, come true.
