Hot summer day
Is blistering away.
It’s hard at this time
Cool and calm to stay.
The air is heating up
Since six a.m.
I don’t know at times,
Where I am.
The Mother Nature
Is giving us a treat:
The sizzling and scorching
Summer heat.
I cannot wait
For temperature to cool.
Meanwhile,
I’m surviving in the pool.
The heat will not be over
Until fall.
You can do nothing,
Such is nature’s call.
