I MISS THAT OLD FEELING

Once we knew where we were going
Now we have not but a single clue
So many telling lies as time it byes
Now not sure what to think or do

Once we knew how to trust souls
I miss not being able to any more
Once we would help any on any day
These days of that most so unsure

So many a con trying to get it all on
Negativity seems so alive and well
I miss that old feeling of positive
I always was once over time I tell

I love caring for others in my life
Often now being so misunderstood
Sad thing is one can't change much
These days would if I at all could

Getting so friends less we know
So many feel the same way as I
Miss that old feeling of trusting
Thank goodness for birds in sky
