For the sake of faith in God,
And the knowledge of the truth;
We need to honor and laud,
And never being uncouth.

We must be in one accord,
Righteous within godliness;
For having faith in the Lord,
Conditioned in holiness.

Because God who never lies,
Gives hope for eternal life;
Making us noble and wise,
For helping to cope with strife.

Manifested in His Word,
Long before the ages began;
Through the preaching you have heard,
About the Lord and His plan.

If anyone be blameless,
That the husband of one wife;
With children that are shameless,
Are enjoying married life.

His children are believers,
Not impish or unruly;
Knowing they are receivers,
Of their salvation truly.

An overseer as steward,
Must be above all reproach;
As a servant of the Lord,
Good and faithful to encroach.

He has to be well-mannered,
Not as a drunkard on wine;
Not angered or quick-tempered,
And prays before he would dine.

Hospitable, lover of good,
Self-controlled and discipline;
Doing everything he should,
Committing no deadly sin.

This testimony is true,
To rebuke the deceivers;
For their faith is not like you,
Since they are nonbelievers.

They profess in knowing God,
But deny Him by their deed;
Impure and never to laud,
Only thinking of their greed.
