This is the time of year to get things right
A new year is anytime now and if we all
Start it all on the right note to begin with
Like wasting endless money all on a wall

Not a time to add to the troubles upon earth
That exist already but a time to become one
Soon singing : Let all forsakens be forgotten :
Then songs of peace on earth well could be won

In places we know : In God We Trust : they sing
And at the same very time feel that they are he
There's good souls all over this our earth wide
That all of them if honest and asked would agree

A time to start the year off positive as one family
The family of the human race that's what we are
And with any love humility consideration at all
Only that being all above will ever take us far

So many no real better than they that they fight
With all their man written books religions as well
As it all does comes down to their swim or drown
Knowing end of the day we all we all die need I tell
