At a function invited to met a guy there too
That about thirty years ago back when knew
Talking of old times away back then he told
Remember a girl called Molly he told to you

Yes dated her a few times while working there
Seemed that after you then went on your way
She found out she was pregnant had a daughter
But your contract there had ended on the day

Goodness nobody had told you looked for you
She knew how to away back in that very time
Met her back then at a function her first dates
Seemed as it was he said that child it was mine

Hell that was thirty years ago be back get a beer
But on my return he'd left nobody knew him
Seemed he was with others who had gone as well
And finding where he was chances they said slim

Sitting in my hotel alone thinking of all this said
Thoughts about it all of back then so very many
Had not seen or heard from him or them since then
Time over all this time had rubbed out seemed any

Never been to that town in all this time contract over
Life had just moved on over all these passing years
She knew who you'd contracted for away back then
Thinking of it all away back then having a few beers

I wonder how many have as if been here you thought
Wondered of the child born no more a child any today
That girl Molly might be dead by now long time ago
Wondering of the daughters life as well since the day

Thoughts still have me think back to that contract
And the days so very long all gone now by the way
Not that if I was ever hard to find even back then
How many had been here done this I dare to say
