There is a problem with being dry.
Being dry means I have stepped into the Enemy's territory.
Satan's goal is to get us down and discouraged.
I am not going to live discouraged.
I need to take responsibility for myself and my thought life.
Acts
The battle takes place in the mind.
I need to get my mind going into the right direction.
I need to be proactive.
I need to get into an environment that is uplifting.
Practical things can keep us from being passionate.
I need to be around positive and happy people who want to make a difference and give back to society.
I can change.
You are waiting on me.
This day is a gift from You.
Many people would love to trade places with me.
You wantY us to enjoy life.
I am tempted to get dry.
Psalm 42
When I am dry, I have stepped into Satan's territory.
I need to stay out of dry places.
I need to guard my mind.
I need to be grateful for what is right in the life You have given me.
The discouragement test comes to all of us.
You are breathing on the life You have given me in a new way.
Psalm 68
You know how I feel and You know what I am up against.
You have been raining down showers of encouragement via technology and the sanctuary.
You are exceeding my expectations.
My latter days will be better than my former days.
I need to rule my thoughts.
I need to be full of hope.
You are still on the Throne.
Tomorrow will be better than today.
You have laid out a path that gets brighter and brighter.
You are not limited by what I do not have.
The dry place comes to me.
I should not let the dryness get in me.
I need to focus on how big You are.
1 Kings 19
Just because I have great victories does not mean that I don't have to fight discouragement.
You have given me a great testimony and I must take great tests.
You always give me provisions for what is ahead.
1 Kings 19:9
You are still on the Throne and You control the Universe.
I am not the only one facing what I am up against.
People have been where I am.
Elijah mentored Elisha.
Just like Elijah mentored Elisha, I can mentor the graduates and job seekers.
I can help the students in the library.
