With all that's been of late and seen
I decided time simply to get away
Give my heart mind and soul time
Awhile to get back some yesterday

Never had any real mapped plans
Wandered where it all took me to
And then I happened upon a track
I could not believe my eyes so true

Nature was not rested yet it seemed
It had for sure some things yet to do
I knew then that this human race
Had more to appreciate to see through

A mountain covered with flowers lay
Where man yet was seldom to go
As destructive as many seem to be
There is still hope for the meek it's so
