Corruption of heart oh corruption of soul
Oh how corruption crumbled her mind
Creating within it a gaping whole
Taking away the sight of the spirit making her eternally blind

When corruption took over it spread like disease
Consuming her light and and breaking her down with ease
Effortlessly bringing her down to her knees
Leaving the dark to do as it may please

Destruction of her living temple
Soon followed the corruption of her heart
Crushing her down not being gentle
The odds were against her right from the start

Still she did try
But instead of going towards truth she followed a lie
The principles of truth she failed to apply
Leaving within her the righteous to die

Her heart she allowed to become corrupt
By opening the door and letting it in
Forgetting with whom she had supt
Where with she had been washed of her sin

She was given power over her mind
But laws within the code she attempted to bend
In hopes of leaving no one behind
Beings of light and beings of dark she foolishly tried to blend

In the beginning her intentions were good
The choices she made were made out of love
But the laws of the truth she misunderstood
Heaven looked down on her from way up above

Her journey was long
With no end in sight
She ended up where she didn't belong
Battling sin was a continuous fight

She became lost surrounded in sin
Instead of standing out
She tried to fit in
Oh what has she done why did she doubt

With the loss of the light she's left to decay
Her vessel void of life she'll be left to rot
Filled with despair she waits for the end come what may
The spirit of truth she should not have forgot
