Isaiah 49, the second of the four servant songs of Isaiah
You, Jesus Christ, are a Sovereign and Sinless Servant of God.
Isaiah 53:9
No one can convict You of sin, Lord, because You are Sinless.
You have no sin nature and You paid a debt that You did not owe.
There are no hall servants in the United States of America.
There are hall servants in Europe, though.
You are God in human flesh and You made Yourself of no reputation.
You took on the form of a bondservant.
Isaiah 52:14
You are a Suffering Servant.
Isaiah 53:4-5, 7-10, 12
You are the Messiah and You have experienced great suffering.
You are a Substitutionary Servant.
The chastisement for our peace was upon You, Lord.
We have all sinned and fallen short of Your glory.
You have died for us all.
You died in our place.
You were slaughtered so that we could be saved.
You were a Silent Servant.
You kept silent.
You answered nothing.
Silence can be intimidating.
Silence is when we can think.
You are a Saving Servant.
You will sprinkle many nations.
You will justify many people.
Isaiah 52:15, 53:11
I am not good enough.
You are Perfect and You are the Substitute.
I am guilty and You are not.
We all need You, Lord Jesus Christ and Holy Spirit.
You have died in our place so that we might be saved.
You will save us by sprinkling us and You will justify us according to Your Righteousness.
Amen, thank You.
