In shades of blue she tried her best
Covered in purple she traveled emerging from the west
With good intentions she started her quest
Her will for survival was put to the test

She was lost and homeless
With unseen creatures she did tread
Her heaven turned from blue to red
She searched for answers in great distress

With a winter sadness covered in green
She befriended these creatures while in her grief
And on these unseen creatures she did lean
Her family looked upon her in great disbelief

They did not understand the world only she could hear and feel
In realms that couldn't be seen with human sight
Her family insisting it couldn't be real
But the voices called her every night

In love with her they did fall
Because although she could not see
She loved them all
She could feel their presence whatever they may be

For her their love did grow day after day
With them she danced through the smoky night
Covered in shades of grey
Anyone else would have ran with fright

With them she played into the early morning hours
Shades changing from grey to black
They lovingly granted her powers
But because of her sins they were sent back

Their hearts she did break
When she was swayed by the humans call
Her hopes and dreams the humans did take
On hands and knees the creatures did crawl

Day and night for her the creatures cried
She was their best friend
But now she stood by the humans side
Bringing her world of magic to an end

With pharmaceuticals they filled her head
This poison to her body was fed
For them her body bled
Although her pulse is there without them she'd rather be dead
