According to the Commentary in the Book of Proverbs, gaining wisdom myself can be the first step in winning souls to You and real stability and success come only to those who do what is right (NLT, 1331). Real success maintains personal integrity (NLT, 1331). Reliable communication is vital (NLT, 1335).In Proverbs 14:26, You promise that those who fear You, the LORD, are secure and You will be a refuge for their children (NLT, 1338). You have a special concern for the poor (NLT, 1338). In Proverbs 14:34, You promise that godliness makes a nation great but sin is a disgrace to any people (NLT, 1339). In Proverbs 16:20, You promise that those who listen to instruction will prosper and those who trust You will be joyful (NLT, 1343). Enthusiasm without knowledge is no good and haste makes mistakes (NLT, 1348). Proverbs 19:8 says to acquire wisdom is to love yourself and people who cherish understanding will prosper (NLT, 1349). Committing all work to You, acquiring wisdom, and cherishing understanding can promote success and a good reputation for the students (NLT, 1349). Proverbs 19:20 says to get all the advice and instruction that we can so that we can be wise for the rest of our lives (NLT, 1350). You want us to anticipate future needs and prepare for them (NLT, 1351). The king's heart is like a stream of water directed by You, the LORD, You guide it wherever You please (NLT, 1353). Faithful completion of one's work is a great accomplishment (NLT, 1354). You approve of foresight and restraint (NLT, 1355). Even though You want me to produce a great book, I must first learn how to write and I need to commit myself to instruction as well as listen carefully to words of knowledge (NLT, 1360). I won't complain about problems and I will find solutions that will help others (NLT, 1362). Proverbs 25:2 says that it is Your privilege to conceal things and the king's privilege to discover them (NLT, 1364). In Proverbs 25:13, You promise that trustworthy messengers refresh like snow in summer and they revive the spirit of their employer (NLT, 1365). Student learning is the goal of the employer and Khan Academy can help with this as well as review and test preparation at large. I need to keep out of arguments that are none of my business (NLT, 1368). Student learning is the interest of the employer and You promise in Proverbs 27:18b that workers who protect their employer's interest will be rewarded (NLT, 1370). Whenever I am praised or thanked, that is really a test (NLT, 1370). You promise in Proverbs 28:7a that young people who obey the law are wise (NLT, 1371). Because justice is part of Your character, those who follow You treat others justly and justice begins with concern for what is happening to others (NLT, 1371). I need to depend on You (NLT, 1373). Proverbs 31:8-9 says to speak up for those who cannot speak for themselves, ensure justice for those being crushed, speak up for the poor and helpless and see that they get justice (NLT, 1378). Thank You, God, for this Book of Wisdom and thank You for this book of Poetry. Thank You, Lord Jesus Christ and Holy Spirit for Your freedom to take notes on the cellular phone in order to save paper, ink, and lead in order to help the students as well as those in the workplace. I also need the paper, ink, and/or lead whenever You speak through the Bishop at the Potter's House and I am grateful for Your prompting to save these resources for Your Sanctuary, God Almighty.Favorite Favorite Comment Comment Share Share
